The MVD-1 Aeroflitter is a non-conventional design in that it transverses the skies via flapping its wings like an insect. This craft is in high demand on planets along the Shapani Bypass, and was on the market at least around the Battle of Hoth. Although light and highly manoeuvrable, due to its construction of light-weight alloys and high-impact plastics this conveyance generally only lasts five years before falling apart. Its very construction however allows this vehicle to be incredibly affordable, especially when compared against standard airspeeders. Centuries ago, the basic flitter design was developed during the period when tidal flooding on the planet of Mrlsst had reached severe portions. Upon the arrival of humans to Mrlsst, the vehicles were enlarged in order to accommodate the larger species.
