This battle occurred when Loyal Imperial Forces received a distress call from the TIE Advanced Plants in the Omar System, that they were under attack by the traitor, formal Admiral Zaarin. TIE Defenders from Alpha Group hypered into the area to oversee and protect the evacuation of remaining skilled Imperial workforce personnel. The Emperor ordered, as a precautionary measure, the temporary evacuation of those personnel, since Loyal Imperial Forces stationed at Omar could not stop Zaarin's attack. This attack by Zaarin was an attempt to seriously weaken the Empire's TIE Advanced manufacturing capabilities. The Empire would have liked to save the factories, but the lives of Imperial personnel was the primary concern. By the time of the TIE Defenders arrival, Omar 3 was completely evacuated and 4 of Zaarin's TIE Bombers from the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Raptor were making their attack run on the factory, there was nothing that the Loyalist TIE Defenders could do to stop them. Shortly after the TIE Defenders arrived, the Raptor launched a wave of 5 TIE Bombers to destroy Omar 1. The fight began, soon after Omar 3 was destroyed. The Raptor launched an additional 3 waves of 5 TIE Bombers during the battle, all the TIE Bombers were targeting Omar 1. With the fight ravaging in the area between Loyal Imperial Forces and the treacherous forces of former Admiral Zaarin, Container Transport Nomme evacuated most of the personnel off of Omar 2. While that was happening YT-1300 Libro, YT-1300 Hut and Freighter Subcom had docked with Omar 1 to evacuate its personnel. Unfortunately, some personnel remained on the factory Omar 2. The factory along with its 2 cargo containers were destroyed by Zaarin's Nebulon-B2 Frigate Raptor. Nearing the total destruction of Zaarin's TIE Bombers, 2 TIE Advanced hypered into the area to engage the TIE Defenders. Not long after, the remaining enemy starfighters were destroyed. By this time, Freighter Teal was starting to dock with the X7 Factory Station Omar 1. Eventually, Freighter Teal finished and hypered out of the area with evacuated Imperial personnel and the final transport, YT-1300 Timber arrived to get as many of the remaining personnel on Omar 1 off of the factory. Just after YT-1300 Timber went into hyperspace carrying Imperial personnel, Stormtrooper Transport Groups Lambda and Epilson came out of hyperspace to finish off Omar 1, thereby murdering the remaining Imperial personnel. Unfortunately, they were successful, but they suffered casualties. With their escape into hyperspace, 3 groups of 6 Assault Gunboats that Zaarin sent, arrived to chase off the Loyalist Imperial TIE Defenders. Throughout the battle, Imperial transports were hypering in and out of the system, in the evacuation effort. The Empire was able to save a great number of skilled Imperial Technicians and all key personnel from certain death by the hands of the traitor, former Admiral Zaarin.
