This
attack was launched after a previous attack (Attack Rebel Light Cruiser)
stripped that Lulsla of most of its starfighter defence screen and prevented
it from being resupplied. The Rebels knowing of an impending attack, deployed
a mine field around the Lulsla, to help protect their ship. A combined
attack of Stormtrooper Transports and Assault Gunboats were launched to
destroy the MC40a, which they were successful. Stele used his Ion Cannons
on the Type C mines before destroying them. Stele and his Wingmen cleared
the mine field. The first wave of 3 Y-Wings were launched, Stele got one
of them. By this time there were X-Wings and A-Wings in the battle. Stele
targeted the X-Wings with Concussion Missiles and destroyed Red 2 with
3 missiles. Just before the impending destruction of the Lulsla, the Captain
of the ship and some crew and officers tried to evacuate by transports
and shuttles, one of the transports had no escaping crew, however in the
end they were all destroyed by Stele. During this Maarek Stele located
the Captain's shuttle and its accompanying shuttle and disabled them for
capture. The destruction of the Lulsla was a major achievement for the
Empire in the war against the Rebellion in this sector.
