Rebel Intelligence located
a lightly defended Imperial Weapons Stockyard and decided to have the facility
destroyed. The targets were all of the space containers in the stockyard.
With such a tempting target, the Rebels hypered into the area. At first
the only resistance came from the Lambda Shuttles Kappa 1 and 2 which initially
engaged the Rebels. Moments after the battles started, Imperial reinforcements
arrived, they were Corellian Corvettes. The Rebels were able to destroy
the first two of the Lambda Shuttles that were attacking them relentlessly.
Soon after the remaining two Lambda Shuttles intercepted the Rebel fighters
and engaged them. Soon after they too were destroyed. With that the Rebels
proceeded on to the stockyard, however before the Stormtrooper Transport
could escape from the area, the Rebels destroyed this craft. During this,
the Corellian Corvettes deployed two TIE Bombers. Instead of engaging the
Corellian Corvettes, the Rebels directed their efforts against the TIE
Bombers, the Space Mines and most importantly against the Space Containers.
In the end, the Rebels were able to destroy their targets and were able
to safely hyper out of the area.
