The AirPatrol II is a security speeder employed by corporations to help protect and police their assets. Lant Mining Corporation's Security Patrol's arm were equipped with these speeders, and were encountered on worlds with LMC operations. In the case of LMC, generally, at least one speeder manned by two Security Patrol officers was assigned to protect each mine or refining facility. This design was on the market at least a few weeks after the Battle of Yavin.
