The Large Gun/Warhead Emplacement
was designed to protect defenseless stations and bases from attack. This
rotating heavy gun emplacement is an extremely dangerous structure, as
it is capable of putting out a high rate of fire against its targets.
This emplacement was in Imperial service at least just after the Battle
of Hoth.
