The Homing Mine B is a deep
space mine that was in Imperial service shortly after the Battle of Hoth
(and before the destruction of the Vergesso Asteroids Shadowport). Any
craft that passes within its active radius will be zeroed in by this nasty
mine. This defensive weapon is frustratingly difficult to hit and evade.
When employed in groups this mine is very effective. These mines are small
enough to be installed onboard Lambda Shuttles in a retractable triple
launcher in order to dispatch or discourage pursuit.
