An Imperial Nebulon-B Frigate has been ambushed by Rebel Forces in the Airam Sector and is under threat of being captured. Captain, shortly after your capture operation of the Rebel Nebulon-B Frigate The Master, the Rebels managed to ambush the Imperial Nebulon-B Frigate Lightning Bolt just as it came out of hyperspace. The Nebulon-B Lighting Bolt has succumbed to the Rebel ambush. The frigate lays disabled in the Rebel minefield and its fighter complement is merely a debris field. You have been ordered to repel the Rebel attackers and prevent the capture of the Nebulon-B Frigate Lightning Bolt. As usual you will be operating from the VSDII Touch of Death. You still retain command of Hammer (TIE Interceptors, specially equipped with shields) and Anvil Squadrons (TIE Bombers specially equipped with shields). Note that Hammer and Anvil Squadrons are veterans. The Spacetroopers and ATRs under your command have been reassigned to another Imperial warship. In their place you have been given 3 Stormtrooper Transports. The Rebels have deployed a large Type B Minefield in the area. The Rebel ambush force includes 4 CR90 Corellian Corvettes, 4 Corellian Gunships, 1 X-Wing, 1 Y-Wing and 1 A-Wing Squadrons. The Y-Wing and A-Wing Squadrons are veterans. [A Veteran squadron is the equivalent 2 ordinary squadrons]

Note that there are no reinforcements available. Hammer Squadron does not have any warheads. Anvil Squadron has been equipped with 16 Concussion Missiles per TIE Bomber. The Stormtrooper Transports have no warheads. The X-Wings have 6 Proton Torpedoes each. The Y-Wings have 8 Proton Torpedoes each, while the A-Wings have 8 Concussion Missiles each.

Anvil Squadron would target the A-Wing Squadron with its concussion missiles, while Hammer Squadron would provide escort. The VSDII Touch of Death would make its way towards the Rebel CR90 Corellian Corvettes, but keeping a safe distance away from the minefield. When the Rebel fighters attack, Hammer Squadron will concentrate on finishing off the A-Wings, while Anvil Squadron switches its targets to the Y-Wings. Once the A-Wings have been finished off, Hammer Squadron would set its sights on the X-Wing Squadron. After which any remaining Rebel fighters would be destroyed. Meanwhile, the VSDII Touch of Death would hold all of the Rebel CR90 Corellian Corvettes in its tractor beams to immobilize them. It would concentrate all fire on the Corvettes to quickly take down their shields. Once their shields were out, they would be disabled with ion cannons, while the VSDII's turbolasers are diverted to fight the Corellian Gunships. The same tactic would be used on the Corellian Gunships. Once the Rebel fighters have been cleared, Hammer Squadron would turn their attention on clearing the minefield, while Anvil Squadron would use its remaining concussion missiles on the Corellian Gunships. It would not be long after until all Rebel craft in the area were destroyed.
