Commander XC-1098, after
much effort by Imperial Intelligence to locate a secret mercenary base,
you are hereby ordered to capture it. The base is located on an atmosphere
less moon in the Mytilda System. The mercenaries, the Living Hell Corps
were contracted by the Empire to help put an end to the Nishudi Crime Combine
in the Delores System. Instead of assisting, the treacherous Living Hell
Corps attacked the small local Imperial Army Garrison and stole a large
number of small arms, munitions and ordinance from the Garrison's armoury
before they could be driven off. The mercenaries managed to escape due
to a blunder by the Imperial Army Garrison commander. It is now up to the
Stormtroopers to rectify this disaster. An Imperial probe reported that
the mercenary base is protected by 6 Atgar SpaceDefence 1.4 FD P-Towers
and 14 Y-Wings. It also reported that the base's threat detection grid
(sensors) were geared towards space, not to the surface of the moon. There
are an equivalent of 8 squads of mercenaries, 80 in all. An Y-4 Military
Transport has delivered 4 AT-STs and 4 augmented squads of Stormtroopers
(40 in all). |
Note that 6 TIE Fighters are available for
reinforcements. All of the Stormtroopers have been equipped with life-support
packs. They are all armed with E-11 Blaster Rifles (Range 300 Metres, 100
Shots) and their standard Thermal Detonator. 2 Stormtroopers of each squad
are equipped with 4 Magnetic Demo Charges, while the rest of the squad
are equipped with 2 Concussion Grenades (Total of 8 Stormtroopers with
charges and 32 Stormtroopers with grenades). All the mercenaries are equipped
with Vacuum Suits, DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistols and SoroSuub QuickSnap 36T
Blaster Carbines (Range 250 Metres, 100 Shots) or SoroSuub Stormtrooper
One Blaster Rifles (Range 300 Metres, 100 Shots). Note that 2 squads of
mercenaries operate the base's defences. |
