The Rebels and the Airam
have managed to learn your hyperspace jump co-ordinates and have ambushed
the VSDII Touch of Death. Apparently the Rebels sent two task forces
after your ship captain, and they are very much intent on destroying it.
The Rebels have managed to knock out the main and backup hyperdrives and
have destroyed the shield generators. There are also seven quite visible
hull breaches in various areas of your warship. You must hold out long
enough for an Imperial Task Force to arrive. The Rebel Task Force that
attacked your warship has long since escaped into hyperspace. However the
second Rebel Task Force is making its way towards your position to finish
your warship off. You still retain command of Hammer (TIE Interceptors,
specially equipped with shields) and Anvil Squadrons (TIE Bombers specially
equipped with shields). Note that Hammer and Anvil Squadrons are veterans.
You still have the 3 Stormtrooper Transports. The Rebel and Airam Task
Force includes 2 Dreadnaughts, 2 A-Wing, 1 Y-Wing and 1 B-Wing Squadrons.
The A-Wing Squadron are veterans. [A Veteran squadron is the equivalent
2 ordinary squadrons] |
Note that there are no reinforcements available.
Hammer Squadron does not have any warheads. Anvil Squadron has been equipped
with 16 Concussion Missiles or 12 Proton Torpedoes per TIE Bomber. The
Stormtrooper Transports have 10 Proton Torpedoes each. The B-Wings have
12 Proton Torpedoes each. The Y-Wings have 8 Proton Torpedoes each, while
the A-Wings have 8 Concussion Missiles each. |
