class Star Destroyer Touch of Death has been assigned to Operation
Darkstar. Your Star Destroyer is to participate in a covert operation designed
to help Imperial Task Force Vengeance in the Airam Sector. Other ships
will be assigned to Operation Darkstar as Imperial High Command sees fit.
You have been ordered to capture a massive Airam supply depot that has
been supplying the Rebel Alliance in that sector. The supply depot is located
near a highly active pulsar and due to the unique nature of the area, there
is only one safe hyperspace route in or out of the area. All Rebel craft
in the area are either to be captured or destroyed, no ship is to escape.
Your VSDII Touch of Death has been specially assigned Hammer (TIE
Interceptors, specially equipped with shields) and Anvil Squadrons (TIE
Bombers specially equipped with shields). Note that Hammer and Anvil Squadrons
are veterans. Other craft available to you are 2 ATRs. You also have the
option of deploying Spacetroopers and standard Stormtroopers. Rebel opposition
is led by the MC40a Shadowstrike. Its forces include 2 veteran X-Wing
Squadrons, 2 Stormtrooper Transports and 6 Cargo Ferries. The Airam Forces
include 2 T-Wing Squadrons. [A Veteran squadron is the equivalent 2 ordinary
squadrons] |
| Note that there are no reinforcements available.
Hammer Squadron does not have any warheads. Anvil Squadron has been equipped
with 12 Proton Torpedoes per TIE Bomber. The ATRs have only 4 Proton Torpedoes
each. The X-Wings have 6 Proton Torpedoes each, while the T-Wings have
no warheads. However, the Stormtrooper Transports have 10 Proton Torpedoes
each. The Airam supply depot has no shields. |
