Some people have asked where do the people who answer these questions get their abilities? It simple really, if you read the novels, play the RPG and PC games you will naturally develop the ability to formulate tactics and strategies, since you will know the nature and how Star Wars units operate and fight. Will the Galactic Empire Data Bank inform me if it has received my answer? And will the GEDB inform me if I win or lose the Tactical Question of the Month?
Yes, GEDB sends out a confirmation E-Mail that the answer was received. GEDB analyses all of the submitted answers at the end of the month; that is when the persons who submitted answers are informed if they won or lost the Tactical Question of the Month.
Why didn't I win the Tactical Question of the Month?
GEDB analyses all of the submitted answers using the above criteria. After the analysis which weeds out the answers that are fundamentally flawed (which generally lack detail or are riddled with poor grammar and spelling making understanding of the answer impossible), the best answers are chosen from the remaining lot.
Can I find out exactly why my answer did not win?
When you submit your answer include a statement at the top of the E-Mail stating that you want an explanation as to why your answer did not win.
