With the new frontier platform completed, an Imperial relief force was sent to relieve Imperial Forces who were guarding the platform against attack. Also during this, the final preparations were being made to make the outpost fully operational. Just before the relief forces were due to arrive, the two IPV-1s stationed at the platform had been delivered by the VSD Stalwart. Some moments after the start of the battle, the VSD Stalwart left the area to escort the final convoy to this platform. Also the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick launched the Lambda Shuttle Luft, which headed towards the platform. With the losses the Rebels had suffered during this campaign, they would make one last, desperate attempt to disrupt and destroy Imperial efforts that had been made in this sector. The Secret Order had ordered Stele to capture members from the Rebel staff that would participate at this battle.

    About 45 standard seconds into the battle, 2 Rebel ATRs came out of hyperspace. With their arrival, Stele raced to intercept them, however the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick had already engaged them. As Stele was making his way towards the ATRs, B-Wings had arrived. Stele flew to point-blank range and hit the first ATR with a pair of proton torpedoes, then he turned and used the corkscrew maneuver to get safely away. When the Rebel Lambda Shuttle Electra entered the area, Stele intercepted and disabled it. With the shuttle disabled the Imperial Stormtrooper Transport Shark was launched to capture it. During this, B-Wings were attacking the platform, while the Rebel Stormtrooper Transports were attacking IPV-1 Ranger 2. In light of this, Stele reset his recharge rates and raced to save the IPV-1. On his way there an A-Wing got on his tail and was able to hit him with a concussion missile. Once Stele was in range his fired his first torpedoes the Rebel Stormtrooper Transports Rover 1, then Rover 2 and finally Rover 3.

    With the transports destroyed, Stele turned his attention on the A-Wing pursuer. When he did, a X-Wing joined the skirmish against him. By this time the shields of the platform had collapsed, due to the efforts of the B-Wings. The platform finished off the two attacking Rebel ATRs. Stele destroyed the A-Wing pursuer first before going after the X-Wing. Afterwards, the VSD Stalwart, along with the Imperial convoy arrived. During this, an A-Wing was attempting a suicide attack on the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick. However Stele was able to destroy it, so he could be credited with the kill. With that A-Wing gone, Stele went after the remaining A-Wings. With this final Imperial victory in this sector, it ensured that the Rebels would forced out permanently. With the strong Imperial Military presence, the Empire had secured this sector from falling victim to piracy.
