Upon receiving a request for immediate reinforcements from the Imperial Repair Yard in the Swellen System, the ISD Rage being the nearest ship proceeded to the Repair Yard. The Repair Yard had reported the arrival of a small Rebel reconnaissance patrol and believed that an attack was imminent. This was the repair yard that the Interdictor Compellor was sent to for refit. Avenger and Talon Squadrons were ordered to race ahead and intercept any Rebel forces before they could do any harm. The Rebel attack force hypered into the area. The B-Wings and X-Wings first went after the Gun Emplacements that was protecting the Repair Yard, while the A-Wings provided starfighter cover. Avenger and Talon Squadrons engaged the Rebels. Shortly after the battle the Rebel ATR group Storm arrived to capture the Interdictor Cruiser Compellor. With the battle raging on, the Interdictor Compellor began to leave the Repair Yard in an attempt to escape. Unfortunately the Rebels were able to destroy all of the Gun Emplacements defending the Repair Yard. Once that happened, the X-Wings broke off to help the A-Wings against Imperial Forces while the B-Wings turned their attention on the Interdictor Compellor. The B-Wings were able to disable the Interdictor, thereby preventing its escape and allowing its capture. With the Interdictor disabled, the ATRs made their attempt to board and capture the Imperial vessel, but in the end they did not succeed due to the efforts of Avenger and Talon Squadrons. With the loss of all their ATRs, the remaining Rebel starfighters realizing that their mission had failed tried to destroy the Interdictor. When the ISD Rage finally arrived, the Rebels decided to cut their losses and escape while they still could.
