In retaliation for the Airam's
attack on the ISD Rage, the ISD Rage exacted retribution upon them. Intelligence
believed that the Airam Repair Yard Hinda had recently serviced Rebel ships.
Much to the Empire's surprise and delight the MC80a Pietr was being serviced
by the Airam and was caught by surprise and with its shields down. Avenger
Squadron inspected the ship before it was destroyed by Talon Squadron.
In its own defence, Repair Yard Hinda started launching its complement
of starfighters, while the MC80a Pietr tried to make a run for it. However,
the MC80a never left the Repair Yard, it was destroyed by a volley of heavy
rockets from Talon Squadron. Both the Modified Corvettes Salu and Frop
were powering up to flee the area, but they were inspected by Avenger Squadron
just before they were destroyed by the Assault Gunboats. Before the Gun
Emplacements met their fate, the all of the defending T-Wings had been
destroyed. The Gun Emplacements also faced the same fate from the Assault
Gunboats and were soon destroyed. With the destruction of the Gun Emplacements,
Rebel reinforcements arrived but far too late to save their destroyed MC80a
or to save the platform. The two Rebel Strike Cruisers and the Nebulon-B
stayed out of the battle, and let loose their complement of Z-95 Headhunters.
Once the Repair Yard's hull integrity was down to 50% it started launching
Escort Shuttles to evacuate personnel, however none of those shuttles would
make it out of the area. They were all destroyed by Avenger Squadron before
they could escape. It was not long after that the Repair Yard was destroyed.
With it destroyed, Talon Squadron set its sights on the Rebel ships. Avenger
Squadron was able to inspect these vessels before these Rebel ships were
destroyed, before they could escape from the Empire's grasp. The presence
of the MC80a was irrefutable evidence that the Airam were still providing
assistance to the Rebel Alliance.
