Based on information gained from the Imperial traitor, Rebel Intelligence was expecting Imperial activity in the Dellalt System. Also the treacherous captain of the Imperial Corvette Bixby confirmed reports that the Empire was planning a major offensive in this sector. He believes that a large Imperial Fleet would begin its campaign in this system. This was the first time that Farlander was completely on a solo mission. The Nebulon-B Frigate Warspite was about 4.5 km away when Farlander came out of hyperspace. There were two TIE Fighters on patrol. Farlander turned his fighter towards the frigate and targeted the nearest TIE Fighter. He shot both TIEs on the first pass and with that a pair TIE Fighters were launched immediately, however Farlander kept heading towards the frigate and identified it. By this time, a pair of corvettes hypered in. The TIE Fighters were in pursuit of the Rebel. As he closed in on the two corvettes (group 327), a freighter (Ruggert) hypered in.
While Farlander was identifying
corvette group 327, corvette group 758 hypered into the area.
Once Farlander had identified all five corvettes and was out of their weapons
range, he dispatched the pursuing TIE Fighters. Soon three more corvettes
(group 427) hypered into the area and so the Rebel A-Wing headed
towards them. The BFF-1 Freighter Eichler appeared in nearby space,
followed by two more corvettes (group 524). Farlander identified
them. When a pair of Nebulon-B Frigates dropped out of hyperspace, Farlander
raced towards them, even though they were launching TIE Fighters. In the
end however, Farlander was able to identify the frigates and soon after
the ISD Invincible hypered into the area, with its arrival signalled
Farlander's exit from the system.
