A small Imperial convoy
was passing through the Atterol System when Rebel raiders attacked the
convoy. The convoy of 3 Modular Conveyors was being escorted by the Nebulon-B
Frigate Tegret and its 2 squadron of TIE Interceptors. The Rebels'
goal was to try to capture at least one of the cargo carrying ships. The
Rebels deployed themselves in four flight groups, while Imperial Forces
deployed their fighters in two flight groups. Moments after the battle
started, Rebel reinforcements arrived, they were Rogue Squadron. The Rebel
Z-95s and Rogue Squadron did everything they could to keep the TIE Interceptors
busy while the Y-Wings went after the Modular Conveyors. A short time after
the battle started, Rho Squadron arrived to help strengthen the Empire's
position in this battle. At the mid point of the battle, Rebel Forces had
destroyed 1/3 of the Imperial starfighter forces in the area and with that,
Rebel ATRs came out of hyperspace and headed directly towards the Modular
Conveyors. While they were on their way towards the cargo vessels, they
fell under the blazing guns of the Nebulon-B Frigate Tegret. Combined
with any TIE Interceptors that broke off from the Rebel fighters and made
the Rebel ATRs a target, the Rebel ATRs were soon destroyed. With the ability
to capture the Modular Conveyors lost, the Rebels retreated out of the
area, empty handed and with severe losses. Throughout the entire battle,
the Nebulon-B Frigate Tegret did not suffer any damage at all. If
any of the Modular Conveyors were disabled, a Lambda Shuttle would hyper
into the area to repair the disabled vessel.
