The MC80a Cathleen was recovering Rebel starfighters that were battle weary and damaged, after a successful attack on Imperial shipping in the Corporate Sector. To protect the recovery operation, Red Squadron was deployed, the X-Wings maintained point defence around the MC80a, while the A-Wings watched the perimeter. The Imperial Nebulon-B Frigate Terminator hypered into the area some distance away from the MC80a, a short time after the Rebel recovery operation had begun. The Imperial frigate deployed 6 TIE Bombers before hypering out of the area. With that the Rebel A-Wings raced to engage the TIE Bombers. A short time later, the Imperial frigate reappeared again, this time on the other flank of the MC80a, still quite some distance away. The frigate once again deployed 6 TIE Bombers and hypered out of the area. However, in the end the Rebels were able to destroy the TIE Bombers, without a disruption in their recovery operation. A short time after the destruction of the TIE Bombers, the MC80a and the protecting Rebel starfighters hypered out of the area.
