Farlander hypered into the area to help  protect the transfer of wounded Rebels to the Rebel Medical Frigate. Many Rebels were wounded following the recent evacuation of the Rebel Base at Briggia. The Rebel Corellian Corvette Korolev was carrying most of the wounded, while the shuttles were bringing in the remainder. With the devastation of the evacuation, the Empire was able to deal the Rebels a serious blow. Three Rebel Lambda Shuttles hypered into the area before the Rebel corvette. A short time after the start of the mission, the Imperial Nebulon-B Frigate Warspite dropped out of hyperspace 11 km away and deployed 2 TIE Fighters and 3 TIE Bombers, then hypered out of the area.

    Farlander targeted a TIE Bomber and headed off to intercept the incoming TIE Bombers. At 3 km from the TIE Bomber, Farlander switched over to proton torpedoes and fired a torpedo. The TIE Bomber was more than 1 km away and it was destroyed head on by the torpedo. With that, Farlander targeted the other 2 TIE Bombers and destroyed them with his torpedoes. By this time, the Nebulon-B Frigate Warspite had returned, this time on the side of the Rebel Medical Frigate opposite to Farlander. With its re-emergence into realspace, the Imperial frigate deployed more TIEs.

    When the 2 escorting TIE Fighters got too close to him, he used the Wotan Weave to evade them. Farlander raced to stop the second wave to TIE Bombers that was launched by the Imperial frigate. He repeated what he did against the previous TIE Bombers and was able to destroy them before they could unleash their proton torpedoes at the Rebel corvette. Throughout the battle, Rebel ships carrying wounded were docking with the Rebel Frigate to transfer the wounded. The Rebel corvette was the last to dock, once the Rebel ships were finished transferring the wounded they hypered out of the area. With the TIE Bombers gone Farlander engaged the TIE Fighters and soon after the Rebel Corvette Korolev hypered out of the area, thus completing the mission.
