The Empire knew of the impending Rebel attack on the Bulk Freighters when they rendezvoused with the ISD Rage for a badly needed supply of warheads. The Empire knew of this because the Empire planted an agent in the mists of the Rebel Intelligence staff. Admiral Senn was coordinating the final preparations for the Empire's assault on the Rebel starship yard that had been located. The ISD Rage would rejoin the task force once it was resupplied. The Rebels in this attack on Imperial Forces would be using the sabotaged warheads that the Empire allowed them capture. Once half the load of proton torpedoes were fired off, the fire control system would then cause the remaining unfired proton torpedoes to detonate. The Rebel X-Wings were the first wave of the attack force to hyper in the area and went after the Bulk Freighters arrived. The X-Wings targeted the Bulk Freighters which came out of hyperspace (before the X-Wings arrived) a few kilometres from the ISD Rage and started to fire off their load of proton torpedoes, while Avenger and Talon Squadrons did their best to intercept those torpedoes before they could reach the freighters. Not long after the Rebel X-Wings were taken by surprise when their fire control system went berserk, moments after that their X-Wings detonated. During the battle, the Bulk Freighters head towards the ISD Rage to drop of their shipment of munitions. A second strike force of A-Wings came out of hyperspace to the rear of the ISD Rage and a moment later a third Rebel strike force of B-Wings came out of hyperspace right in front of the ISD Rage. The Rebels fired off some more proton torpedoes, but then stopped since they were on the Imperial sabotage plot on their sabotaged proton torpedoes. The battle raged on and Imperial Forces were preventing the destruction of the freighters. In the mid point of the battle, the Rebel Dreadnaught Neva hypered into the area and launched its Z-95 Headhunters. The Bulk Freighters at this time dropped off the cargo containers. With that, the Utility Tugs were launched to bring back the munitions. Imperial Forces were beating back the Rebel raiders. Once the shields on the Rebel Dreadnaught were almost down it began to withdraw from the battle. Moments before the Dreadnaught was destroyed the Imperial Bulk Freighters hypered out of the area. The remaining Rebels were not as fortunate and were destroyed.
