An Imperial reconnaissance flight that was sent to the cargo transfer area near the planet of Argoon found the area abandoned. The cargo transfer area contained the materials and parts for the new frontier platform planned in the Pakuuni System. It was believed that the Rebels frightened off the personnel based at the transfer area with the threat of destruction. Stele was sent to inspect the cargo containers to ensure the right ones were loaded aboard the VSD Stalwart. Stele was able to quickly inspect all of the containers. With that a Rebel Y-Wing appeared and began torpedoing the VSD. In response Stele engaged and destroyed the Y-Wing. During this the VSD launched TIE Fighters. After the first Y-Wing was destroyed, another appeared. However instead of engaging it, Stele turned to destroy the empty containers. The Y-Wing went after Stele, even though it was being pursued by TIE Fighters. Stele, in response to this threat, turned around and finished off the threat. After which, another Y-Wing, a Rebel Stormtrooper Transport and the Rebel Corvette Dragon arrived.
With this new development,
the VSD launched TIE Interceptors and shortly after, TIE Bombers. Once
Stele destroyed the empty containers, he decided to go after the corvette.
By the time he arrived, the Corvette Dragon had lost its shields.
After the Rebel Stormtrooper Transport was destroyed, the Rebel Corvette
Viper
entered the area. Stele let off some concussion missiles at the corvette.
With that Stele came under the guns of a Rebel shuttle. The shuttle was
able to hit Stele's TIE Bomber, but not destroy it. The damage inflicted
knocked out the TIE Bomber's instruments and so Stele had to fight blind.
He was within point-blank range when he fired a couple of missiles at the
shuttle, in the end he was triumphant. Stele waited for the automatic repair
systems to bring his targeting system back online. Meanwhile, the Heavy
Lifters were busy collecting the cargo containers. Soon after the Corvette
Viper
was destroyed. Later, two X-Wings and B-Wings arrived. Stele decided to
go after one of the B-Wings and let off four concussion missiles into it.
Around this time, Stele was informed that the Heavy Lifters had made it
into the hanger of the VSD. And so Stele headed back to the Star Destroyer,
just before an A-Wing could catch up to him. In the end, all of the remaining
Rebel fighters were destroyed.
