With the Pakuuni Pirates' Outpost destroyed, the Imperial Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick had to await the arrival of the Imperial convoy carrying the parts for the new platform and relief forces. The convoy was scheduled to arrive in 15 standard minutes. Since the Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick was running low on active TIE Bombers, the TIE Fighters were outfitted with concussion missiles. When Stele was launched it was the changing of shifts. The previous shift consisted of 2 TIE Fighters and 2 TIE Interceptors. 55 standard seconds after Stele was out in space, the Rebel Nebulon-B Frigate Huntress entered the area. The Rebel frigate began to launch Z-95s and B-Wings.

Stele selected the B-Wings as his flight group's target. Stele targeted a B-Wing and hit with four concussion missiles. Stele directed his wingmen towards a different B-Wing, while he took on another. Stele once again hit it with four concussion missiles. In the end, the B-Wings were quickly destroyed. Pakuuni Pirate Y-Wings arrived in the area, they were gunning towards the Imperial frigate. With their arrival, Stele along with his flight group made an intercept course. By the time he had arrived, the Y-Wings had already fired their torpedoes at the Imperial frigate. However, that would be the first and last chance they would get, since Stele finished them off. More X-Wings joined the fray and fired their proton torpedoes at the Imperial frigate. This time however, Stele was able to destroy three of the incoming torpedoes. With that Stele engaged the three X-Wings and destroyed them.

Upon noticing heavy rockets making their way towards the Imperial frigate, Stele made an attempt and was destroying one of four of them. With the heavy rockets finding their target, they brought the Imperial Nebulon-B2 Frigate Ludwick's hull integrity down to 29%. After this revelation, the awaited Imperial convoy arrived. The convoy arrived in 9 standard minutes and 30 standard seconds after the start of this battle. 30 standard seconds after the convoy arrived, the Rebel frigate hypered out of the area, leaving the Pakuuni and Rebel fighters to be finished off. With the success of this battle, Vice Admiral Thrawn expressed that he was pleased with the performance of his TIE units.
