With the success of the
Sullustan rescue mission and having heard rumours of Operation Strike Fear,
the Sullustan Leadership was ready to have a diplomatic rendezvous to discuss
entrance into the Rebel Alliance. Talks were at a very sensitive stage
and the meeting was being held at a secret site above the planet of Sullust.
Rebel security preparations for this meeting were the tightest ever for
the Rebels, however it was not enough. Rebel A-Wings dropped out of hyperspace
and the surveyed the meeting site. It had no ships in the vicinity and
a few seconds later the rest of the summit participants began to arrive,
the first was the Rebels. The Transports docked to transfer the personnel
to the other transports. And the two shuttles maneuvered to face each other
for the discussions. A few minutes later, the ISD Invincible hypered
behind the frigate Sor-Sull II and launched TIE Interceptors and
TIE Bombers. The Imperial pilots who flew against the Rebels flew poorly.
The Rebels used their concussion missiles on the TIE Bombers and TIE Interceptors.
The Rebels had no problem in defeating the Imperial attack on the summit.
