A pair of Rebel Escort Carriers were discovered by a reconnaissance patrol. 2 TIE Defenders and the Modified Corvette Burke were deployed to attack and capture a Rebel Escort Carrier. The TIE Defenders chose the Escort Carrier Prowler 2 to be their target. That escort carrier was trailing a short distance behind Escort Carrier Prowler 1. The TIE Defenders managed to disable the Rebel Escort Carrier Prowler 2. With the Escort Carrier Prowler 2 disabled, 4 Rebel Corellian Corvettes and 3 X-Wings came out of hyperspace. Moments after their arrival the Interdictor Cruiser Suelu arrived. The Interdictor was on its way to capture the disabled Rebel escort carrier.
Shortly after the arrival
of the Interdictor, the Rebel Escort Carrier Prowler 1 hypered out
of the area. The Rebel corvettes were targeting the Interdictor. However
they did not success in their attempt to destroy the Interdictor. It was
not long after, that the Rebel escort carrier was captured. A minute after
the all of the Rebel corvettes in Spear group were destroyed, the Rebel
Nebulon-B Frigate Egale arrived and launched fighters. But it too
failed to defeat Imperial Forces and it met the same fate as many Rebel
ships before it. For the Empire this operation was a major success.
