The Imperial Security Bureau
was setting up new surveillance satellites near Coruscant and was extending
its network into the Outer Rim Territories. The Rebels aggressively pursue
the destruction of these satellites since they are extremely disruptive
to Imperial control. These new satellites that were being set up became
one of the Rebels targets. A lone X-Wing hypered into the area and conducted
the attack. The Rebel only had a few minutes before an Imperial frigate
would arrive. The Rebel was unfortunately able to destroy the mines that
were protecting the comm sats, the comm sats themselves and the two Stormtrooper
Transports that were in the area. Unfortunately the Imperial Nebulon-B
Frigate Sentinel arrived too late to save Imperial assets that were
destroyed by the Rebels. The frigate arrived moments after the last Imperial
asset in the area was destroyed. With targets in the area destroyed, the
Rebel X-Wing safely hypered out of the area.
