With the success of the previous three missions, Rebel High Command was proud to announce that the Sullustans decided to join the Rebel Alliance. However more importantly the Sullustan technical staff met with the Rebel Special Forces Commander and had worked out a sabotage plan designed to destroy Operation Strike Fear, by destroying its command ship, the ISD Invincible. The first part of the planned called for the capture of some design staff from Cygnus Spaceworks. They would be needed by the Rebels to make special modifications to the Lambda Shuttle the Rebels planned to use against the ISD Invincible. The Rebels learned that Cygnus Spaceworks was conducting trials of their latest spacecraft (Assault Gunboat). And that many Cygnus scientists and Imperial observers were to be on hand.

    Red Squadron hypered into the Cygnus Spaceworks' starfighter performance trial area. Jan-lo attacked the some of the stationary craft, crippling or destroying them, while Farlander did an inspection run on the Stormtrooper Transports to determine which one the technical staff was on. When the Rebel transport arrived, it was waiting for the location of the target transport. As soon as Farlander identified Transport Kappa, TIE Fighter group Zeta was launched from BFF-1 Freighter Dock 2. The TIE Fighters attempted to destroy the Rebel transport, but Farlander was unfortunately able to stop them. Two more waves followed the first from group Zeta. When Farlander attacked BFF-1 Freighter Dock 2, two waves of TIE Interceptors were launched from BFF-1 Freighter Dock 1. Farlander unfortunately was able to destroy them. After the technical staff had been captured, he destroyed their Stormtrooper Transport Kappa. This seemed trigger the launch of two more waves of TIE Fighters from Dock 1. After which Farlander destroyed everything at the trial area, even after the Rebel transport was safely away.
