The Rebels decided to attack
and destroy Imperial Corellian Corvette group Greedon since Rebel scouts
located this large convoy which was relatively unprotected. The Rebels
launched their attack to destroy the convoy before it could reach its hyperspace
point. The convoy was being escorted by 4 TIE Advanced. When the Rebels
came out of hyperspace the escorting TIE Advanced moved in to engage the
Rebels which heavily outnumbered Imperial Forces in the area. It was not
long after that Imperial TIE Advanced reinforcements were called in to
repel the Rebel attack. Rogue Squadron was duelling the with TIE Advanced
while Green Squadron went after the Corellian Corvettes. Nearing the end
of the battle the ISD Malignant arrived and launched 4 TIE Interceptors,
but its arrival was far too late and it came out of hyperspace too far
away from the battle. The Rebels were able to destroy all of the TIE Advanced
and the Corellian Corvettes, thus spelling a victory for the Rebellion.
With the convoy destroyed, the Rebels hypered out of the area, without
engaging the ISD Malignant or its TIE Interceptors.
