This battle was done to
help destroy a new Imperial threat to the Rebellion, Moff Seerdon. The
Rebels did their best in trying not to cause civilian losses during their
raid. The Rebel Corvette played a support role during the raid on the Imperial
Tibanna Gas Containers. Rogue Squadron attacked the first platform which
was protected by 1 TIE Fighter, which it was destroyed, its 9 Imperial
Tibanna Gas Containers were destroyed, the Rebels encountered far heavier
TIE Fighter opposition when they arrived at the second platform, in which
the Rebels destroyed 7 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers. The Rebels then
proceeded to a pair of platforms (3rd and 4th) which they both had 2 Turbolasers
each, these Turbolasers were primarily being used against the Rebel Corvette.
The third platform had 6 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers and the fourth
had 4 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers. After the Rebels did they destructive
work there, they moved on to the fifth platform, where they were greeted
by 5 Turbolasers and swarms of defending TIE Fighters. The platform had
12 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers, which were all destroyed along with
its defences. Another pair of platforms (6th and 7th) had 3 Turbolasers
each, which they primarily used them against the Rebel Corvette, as well
as defending TIE Fighters with engaged the Rebels, to unfortunately fail
against them. The 6th platform had 3 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers while
the 7th had 6 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers. This is where the Rebel
Corvette broke off its attack. On the way to the eighth platform the Rebels
starfighters were attacked a large number of TIE Fighters and TIE Interceptors,
who were trying to do a swarm maneuver on the Rebel starfighters. However,
the Imperial counter attack was not successful, the A-Wings from Rogue
Squadron had to pass around a cloud city before reaching the final eighth
platform. The platform had 6 Imperial Tibanna Gas Containers and
it was protected by 3 Missile Turrets, which unfortunately was not enough
to stop this Rebel raid. In the end the Rebels were successful and the
Imperial commanding officer had to face the wrath of Moff Seerdon.
