The Rebels sent Red Squadron
to test Imperial defences near Circarpous IV. With the arrival of the X-Wings,
the defending TIE Fighters went into pursuit of the Rebel X-Wings. The
TIE Fighters engaged the X-Wings and unfortunately were defeated and were
not able to inflict any losses on the Rebels. Unfortunately with the Empire's
defeat in this battle, this left the people of the Circarpous System with
a wrong impression about Imperial power.
