This battle was initiated
when Moff Seerdon chose to hold Chandrila hostage in an attempt to make
the Rebellion pay for its raid on Fest. General Carlist Rieekan ordered
Rogue Squadron to escort a supply Hovertrain headed to the city of Chandrila.
Imperial Forces under the command of Moff Seerdon were attempting to bombard
and surround the city of Chandrila with Wall Builders. Rogue Squadron was
escorting the supply Hovertrain, when it was attacked by an extensive amount
of TIE Interceptors and pairs of TIE Bombers for a total around 1 squadron
making bombing runs on the train. When Rogue Squadron was able to defeat
that attack and when they arrived at the city 3 TIE Bombers were at work
at bombing the city, but they could not complete their mission since they
were destroyed by the Rebels. Once the TIE Bombers were cleared out 3 Rebel
Lambda-class Shuttles being used as evacuation shuttles arrived at the
edge of the city limits, but they were attacked by 6 AT-STs coming from
two different directions from outside of the city. The AT-STs were unfortunately
unsuccessful in destroying the shuttles, since they were all destroyed
by the Rebels. There was another attacking AT-ST at the other end of the
city, it was most likely destroyed by the Rebels. After the AT-STs were
destroyed another bombing run was made on the city by 3 TIE Bombers escorted
by 1 TIE Interceptor, but they were ultimately unsuccessful and were destroyed
by the Rebels. When the Rebel shuttles were completed their evacuation
and leaving the area, they were attacked by 3 TIE Interceptors, which were
shot down before they could eliminate the escaping Rebel shuttles. During
the battle, the Imperial traitor Kasan Moor lost her X-Wing's stabilizer.
Moff Seerdon made a communication to Kasan Moor, taunting her for switching
to the wrong side of the Galactic Civil War...the Rebellion. In anger she
was going to engage and attempt to destroy Moff Seerdon, but she was ordered
by Skywalker to not to engage on the grounds that they (the Rebels) did
not know how many fighters were protecting him and also they (Rogue Squadron)
had to protect the city of Chandrila. Moff Seerdon got the final word over
the traitor Kasan Moor by declaring her a coward. The Moff was in his Lambda-class
Shuttle leaving the site of the battle and he was being escorted by 4 TIE
Interceptors.
