The Imperial Nebulon-B2
Frigate Blue Ruin responded to a distress call from an Imperial troop convoy
that was transiting through the Mylok System. And the frigate arrived there
moments after the battle had started. The convoy was under minimal escort,
it was being escorted by Talon Squadron. Meanwhile for the Rebels, Blue
Squadron was providing starfighter cover for the rest of the Rebel fighters
who were targeting the Imperial convoy. The Imperial frigate deployed Avenger
Squadron in an attempt to save the convoy. Rebel Y-Wings hypered into the
area early in the battle. Shortly after the battle started, Assault Gunboats
from Rho Squadron arrived to reinforce, the Imperial position in the battle.
The Rebels first concentrated their fire on the Imperial corvettes that
made up part of the convoy and then the Bulk Freighters. In the end unfortunately,
the Rebels were successful in destroying half of the Imperial convoy but
they were not able to destroy the Imperial frigate as they planned to.
