The Empire sent two squadrons of starfighters to eliminate a small Rebel task force being led by the MC80a Tano to their hyperspace jump point. The Rebels deployed their T-Wings to defend their task force. Two and a half minutes into the battle, the Rebel task force was ten minutes away from its hyperspace jump point. The fighting raged on. The TIE Advanced were dealing with the starfighter opposition while the Assault Gunboats made their attack on the Rebel task force. At the mid point of the battle, a Rebel Strike Cruiser came out of hyperspace to reinforce the Rebel's position in the battle. The first Rebel ship in the task force to be destroyed was the Modular Conveyor. The MC80a Tano followed not to long after that. A little before the MC80a was destroyed, the Rebel starfighters began to withdraw back to the MC80a's hangers in preparation for their hypering out of the area, which was only a short time away. However, by that time Imperial starfighters were able to eliminate the T-Wings, thus giving the Empire starfighter supremacy in this battle. With the MC80a destroyed the Assault Gunboats turned their attention on the Strike Cruiser Killiam, while the TIE Advanced concentrated their attacks on the Rebel ETRs. By the time that the TIE Advanced had finished off the ETRs the Assault Gunboats were almost finished in the effort to destroy the sole remaining Rebel ship in the area, the Strike Cruiser Killiam. By the time the TIE Advanced destroyed the ETRs and were racing to reach the Strike Cruiser to assist in its destruction, the Assault Gunboats had destroyed the Rebel vessel, thus eliminating the Rebel presence in this System.
