The Empire was able to locate
a lightly defended Rebel convoy of cruisers who were heading towards their
hyperspace jump point. Imperial Forces decided to attack, however for this
battle the Empire had limited resources available to do this strike against
the Rebels. Rogue and Blue Squadrons were based off the MC80a Odysseus.
Imperial Forces hypered quite some distance away from the Rebel convoy
to initiate the attack. Rogue and Blue Squadrons were deployed to protect
the Rebel convoy against Imperial Forces. The Assault Gunboats first targeted
the Strike Cruiser Thor amidst the fighting and they were able to destroy
it with their torpedoes. The MC40a Zeus also felt the Empire's power and
it too was destroyed. During the battle the Rebels called for their Gold
Squadron reinforcements to prevent the loss of their convoy and unfortunately
the Rebels were ultimately successful. Imperial Forces were able to cause
heavy damage to the MC80a Odysseus' shields, but were not able to destroy
the Rebel ship. Compounding on that defeat was that the entire Imperial
Force that was sent was destroyed.
